Auch in Mittelamerika gibt es nach wie vor jede Menge Gold zu finden. Das war auch historisch so und so ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass es auch heute noch jede Menge Goldmünzen aus Mexiko gibt. Dieser Tage ist es eher die Anlegermünze Libertad, welche neu geprägt wird - aber auch ältere Münzen sind nach wie vor häufiger am Markt befindlich.
Von August 2024 bis Jänner 2025 haben wir einige Auktionen von mexikanischen Goldmünzen (u.a. natürlich auch von Libertad-Goldstücken) beobachtet.
Der Goldpreis lag in dieser Periode zwischen 2.245 und 2.605 Euro pro Feinunze Gold - nachdem sich dieser täglich laufend ändert (siehe Grafik), setzen Sie diese Basis dann in Relation mit den u.a. Auktionsergebnissen. Eine Feinunze Gold (Abkürzung unten: oz.) entspricht übrigens 31,1034768 Gramm - bei vielen Münzen mit einem Goldgehalt unter 999,9 müssen Sie dann auch noch auf das tatsächliche Feingewicht runterrechnen.
Bei Goldmünzen, bei denen viele Stücke zum Verkauf gelangten, sind "von-bis-Preise" angegeben.
Oftmals sind (insbesondere bei älteren Münzen) natürlich auch schon Sammlerpreise vorhanden - bei jüngeren Jahrgängen orientieren sich die meisten Goldmünzenpreise hingegen am aktuellen Goldpreis.
Ein wenig Prägezuschlag und Sammlerwertzuschlag darf man dann noch (insbesondere bei älteren Münzen) addieren. Schöner erhaltene Münzen erbringen natürlich auch etwas höhere Preise als beschädigte bzw. zerkratzte, deformierte, abgenutzte oder schmutzige Goldmünzen.
